This 8-Week course will allow you to change your relationship to your uncomfortable emotions and feelings. We will navigate the waters of not being comfortable together while shifting the perspective from the uncomfortable urge to move away from them to rather leaning into them with a curiosity and inquiry which will lead to not only a different perspective but will allow us to build the emotional courage and intimacy with ourselves and others.

I am so excited to offer this 8-week course on how to re-pattern your emotional reactions. The topic of feelings and emotions has long been one of my favorite to discuss and definitely the most powerful when it comes to achieving success in going beyond your fears and limitations in order to manifest your true abundance.

I truly hope you dive into this course with me and begin to explore the paradigm shift of embracing uncomfortable feelings from a place of awareness and approaching your feelings as powerful information which reveal our embodied spirit.

“VULNERABILITY IS THE NEW POWER”

We have been taught that uncomfortable feelings are a sign of weakness, yet just knowing that does not make them disappear.

In fact, when we experience an uncomfortable feeling, most of us add shame on top of the original feeling, making it even harder to move beyond our discomfort.

We judge our feelings or deny them as if they are not there, causing us to feel abandoned or alone.

We judge our loved one’s feelings and therefore create emotional distance when all we really want is emotional intimacy.

Or worse, we suppress or minimize our feelings thereby creating “dis-ease” or physical conditions.

This 8-Week course will change your relationship to your uncomfortable emotions and feelings.

This course is the framework to building emotional intimacy, self-connection and self-love. We learn how to cultivate the compassion and understanding of what our feelings are truly trying to communicate to us.

Marketers tell us that we purchase items based more on how we feel than what we know.

Science shows us that we basically feel the same way day in and day out. According to neuroscience we are actually addicted to certain feelings based on the neurological networks which were formed as we grew.

In fact, we all know a lot of intellectual information on how to create the life we truly desire but we all watch ourselves do something in the opposite direction.This is because we act based on feelings not knowledge.

Therefore the only way to manifest something we desire is to learn how to transcend the emotions which are standing in our way.

Imagine what this would mean over the course of a life time.
When you change your relationship to your emotions you make different choices, create different habits, completely change your identities of who you think you are and there by manifest what you have always desired. Understanding your personal emotional reactions may possibly be somewhat scary or shameful.
However, when you truly understand what a feeling is and what it is trying to communicate with you, you will have a completely different perspective and therefore a different approach toward navigating your feelings.

It is normal to be afraid of uncomfortable feelings since this is what we have been taught. However, if you want to shift out of the energy of survival into the energyof go, from surviving to a feeling as though we are thriving in our lives, we can no longer be afraid of them.

We will discuss in great depth the 12 most common uncomfortable feelings and truly understand what messages they are trying to reveal. Learning how to experience our feelings from a place of awareness instead of believing we are these feelings, can give us the space we need to respond to them instead of reacting to them. We learn how to validate and honor these feelings, instead of denying or secretly holding onto them.

When you learn how to process the emotions of life you free up your life force energy and change the molecular structure of every cell in your body. You literally transform your energy from negative or positive to neutral! Energy in its purest form is neutral. Being grounded in neutral energy is where behavioral change can take place. Changing your behavior and choices changes your life!

This will be an experiential course as we take the time to ground each of the 12 most common uncomfortable feelings. 

We define them and identify how and where they show up in your life. We explore how to identify the feelings as a way to go beyond the general feeling of density and numbness. We begin to break down the walls of protection which are keeping us from freeing up our energy and moving beyond our limitations and negative beliefs. Each of the twelve feelings have a desirable reason as to why you want to process the emotion.

Develop a Relationship With Your Feelings. The First Step Toward Emotional Freedom

Up until now it may appear that your feelings are who you actually are. You may be so enmeshed with your feelings that it is difficult to navigate out of them or too difficult to get the space you need in order to respond with the kind of emotional maturity that can create your hearts desires.

Traditionally, when we think of feeling your feelings, we think it means we cry, scream at someone else, or go numb. This course is designed to introduce you to developing a relationship with your feelings for yourself, by yourself, and with yourself. Feeling your feelings is an extremely intimate and honorable experience which develops true authentic personal power, emotional maturity, and true connection with yourself.

In this module we will:

  • Introduce what a “feeling is” and the difference between thinking your feelings and actually feeling your feelings.
  • Learn how to feel from a place of awareness instead of enmeshment.
  • Begin the process of developing a loving, curious approach to your feelings.
  • Learn how release yourself from the blame, shame, victim games when it comes to feelings as we begin the ground-breaking practice of creating space with your feelings.
Beginning to Build the Trust We Need In Order to Identify What You Are Feeling

Module two is where the course begins to get very experiential often times the mind will try to confuse you by becoming so overwhelmed that it is difficult to identify the feeling. It is difficult to truly process an emotion which you cannot identify.

In this module we will:

  • Learn how to identify the emotional blocks of true feelings.
  • Identify the behaviors and the inner dialogues which present themselves when we are avoiding our feelings.
Exploring the Evolutionary Benefit of Allowing Ourselves to Feel

Feeling our feelings from a place of awareness can lead to amazing insights, like messages from our soul’s desires.  Often times your mind  clouds our thinking as to why we feel a certain way or worse,  protects our true desires from coming through to our awareness.

When we learn how to feel from a place of awareness it is like the static on the dial of communication from the heart is removed and we see and feel more clearly in order to live our best life. In order to evolve past our fears, past hurts and perceptions, we have to go through the feeling.  However, we have to feel safe enough to let down the protective shield.

In this module we learn:

  • The evolutionary benefits of each of the twelve most common uncomfortable feelings.
  • Continue the dialogue of how to create safety around feeling our feelings.
How to Rid Guilt and Shame for Having Feelings

One of the most common experiences which all humans have when we experience an uncomfortable feeling is we then feel guilt and shame for having the feeling. This is the reason why most of us then judge or rationalize our feelings.

In this module we will:

  • Dive deeper into truly understanding why we have certain emotions.
  • Discuss and identify why it is completely normal and logical that we have certain emotions.
Discover the Different Energetic Qualities and Where They Live In the Body

As we build the tolerance to sit with our emotions we discover that they are actually located in different areas of the body and have different energetic textures.

In this module we will:

  • Discuss the subtle somatic experiences of each healing feeling.
  • Explore how to begin to build our tolerance with the uncomfortable.
Removing the Barriers: Identify the Four Ways In Which Your Mind Will Keep You Thinking Instead of Feeling

Thinking and feeling are mutually exclusive.  However, our mind is a very strongand will often keep us thinking when we are trying to feel somatically through the body’s senses. 

In this module we will:

  • Identify the four ways in which the mind presents its resistance to feeling.
  • Identify your personal “scouting report” of how your mind tricks you into thinking your feelings.
The Science Approach: The Neuroscience Behind Why We Feel the Way We Feel

Neuroscientists  have confirmed that we are addicted to certain feelings. That our thoughts and feelings are nothing more than a well grooved neurological connection. These connections gain strength every time we find ourselves thinking and feeling the same way.

In this module we will:

  • Take a deeper more dimensional view of our feelings.
  • Identify the feelings and thoughts we are addicted to and how to begin to release those habits.
Blending the Art and Science: Two Distinct Ways to Re-Pattern Your Emotional Reactions

This final module will allow you to put all the pieces together and practice two distinct ways to re-pattern your emotional reactions and responses. 

By now you have built a deeper understanding of what is a feeling. You have developed a trusting relationship with the part of you that  is capable of identifying your emotional reactions and responses. By now you have built the tolerance to sit with the discomforts and allow yourself to drop into the vibration of feelings. It is  time to put all the content in a structure that will allow us to process the language of feelings.

In this module we will:

  • Learn and practice two different ways to re-pattern the brain in order to shift the way we react and respond to our feelings.
  • Reconnect to the part of our self which is authentic and true.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I KNOW I CAN'T MAKE IT TO ALL THE LIVE SESSIONS? IS IT STILL WORTH DOING THE COURSE ANYWAY?
All of the sessions of this course will be recorded for you to listen to later. I would encourage you to attend as many sessions live as you can, but you will be able to get all of the value from this course even if you do them all from the recordings.
